Have your old smartphone valued by our in-store teams and deduct the amount from your new phone. This responsible action not only means giving your old smartphone a second life, but also helps reduce your costs. And, as an added bonus, there will be no more old phones piling up in your drawers!
By choosing a reliable smartphone, you avoid having to replace it regularly. Fairphone uses recycled materials, and with its replaceable components easy to find and substitute, you can even repair it yourself. Good for the planet but also for your wallet! Designed to last, Fairphone 5 was released at the end of 2023. Available at Tango stores.
In partnership with SuperDrecksKëscht and Ecotrel, Tango has equipped its outlets with containers and, throughout the year, encourages both customers and non-customers to bring in their unused old phones for recycling via sustainable processes.
For each phone recycled at one of our shops, you can choose between receiving a €5 voucher valid at a Tango store or donating this amount to Natur&ëmwelt, a non-profit organization that strives to protect and promote biodiversity in Luxembourg.
By choosing to donate to the foundation, in addition to recycling your old phones, you contribute to the preservation of natural reserves and the protection of biodiversity.
