Public & Static IP
For remote connections to your network, or to host your website or server
By default, every Tango Internet connection is assigned a dynamic private IP address, suitable for standard uses. The following options allow you to obtain public and static IP addresses.
The advantages of a Dynamic Public IP Address
Whether you would like to remotely connect to your security cameras, file server, web server, or any other device on your local network, a Dynamic Public IP Address is the perfect solution. This will allow you to improve the efficiency of your communications, and access your files or data from anywhere.
The advantages of a Static Public IP Address
With a Static Public IP Address you can benefit from having a permanent IP address. This will allow you to connect your computer to the internet with the same IP address.
The advantage of having a static IP is that you can host a website or FTP server. Any visitor having this IP address will be able to easily access your site or server.
To activate the Dynamic Public IP Address and/or the Static Public IP Address, please contact our Customer Service or visit your nearest Tango point of sale.
